Ajit Thakurdas

June 13, 1940 - September 8, 2022

He made people laugh, he comforted them, he pranked them, he gave them his broad shoulders to lean on. He stood out - not just because of his towering personality, but also because of his large-heart in which thousands lived. He was a beloved husband, father, nana, mamu, jija-ji - filling these roles with his love, his friendly boxing punches, his chuckles, his mimicry, his mentoring and sharing his vast knowledge on so many things: from cricket to world history to western movies.

Missing you dear Uncle. Thank you for being a beacon and guiding light throughout our childhoods. You are an indelible part of our lives which we will forever cherish. Too many precious memories held by all whose lives you touched with your words, your wit and your love. God bless dear Aunty and hold you all in his loving embrace through this tough time.
