Aileen Garden

June 7, 1945 - December 25, 2020

Aileen was a much loved wife, mum, grandma, sister, aunt, friend, counsellor, church member, community and social activist and much more. She was a strong Christian, motivated by her faith, passionate about all that she did and fiercely committed to everyone she met and to making the world a better place. We will all miss her dearly.

Aileen, my lovely friend of almost 20 years. She was clever, hard-working, very high principled, sensitive, very caring, good company and great fun to be with. I really valued her advice and comments and we laughed at many of the same things. We spent many hours putting the world to rights, often with a glass or two of wine and a meal. She set very high standards for herself and others and left me in no doubt about the good causes, and there were several, that she supported and why! She was so proud of her family too and they all meant so much to her. She loved showing me photos of them, of holidays, and of her lovely garden. She was of course an excellent cook too! I am going to miss her so very much. She has had a terrible time over the past year and at last she is at peace. It all seems so unfair as she should have had so much more time ahead of her. with all my love and sincere condolences to Adrian and family Suexx
