I haven't been OK since hearing the news. What an honour and a privilege it was to work with you and learn from you. You were always so willing to share your knowledge - even when you were hectically busy, you always made time. I will forever be grateful for the time spent with you in South Africa, the healthy & robust debates (LOL), the arguments - sometimes having to bring in Sanjeev, Hemanth & Ajith just to help us all align; the laughs. I always chuckled when I think about how we would tag team just to deliver on ridiculous and sometime very unrealistic timelines. We always made the impossible seem possible. Thank you for being such an incredible team player - never assigning blame, but always wanting to push the team to the finish line. You were always very professional and took pride in your work. MTN account has lost such an incredible resource - CSG is definately poorer without you. I am glad i got to meet you personally and learn from you - will forever hold those moments dear to my heart. My sincerest and most heartfelt condolences to your family, especially your wife and your daughter - i know just how much you loved them and spoke so fondly of them. I remember last year, you being sad that you couldn't be at home in Feb to celebrate your little girls birthday. So i definitely believe & know you fought hard to live, i know you wouldn't have wanted to go just like that. Your family must take pride in what a great person you were and we shall keep them in our prayers. Abhi - thank you for EVERYTHING. our hearts are sore, this was so sudden and unexpected. i will carry you in my heart always. Rest easy my friend. Thabi
